Seb has done his escape act again.  He’s been gone for almost a month now i think, and i’ve lost hope of finding him. I have to have moved out in less than 4 weeks and i have searched everywhere. I genuinely think he’s gone this time. I have no idea how he escaped yet again, but this time my little houdini won. I miss him and do worry, but theres nothing else i can do. My housemates dont know as Jonny is terrified of snakes and didn’t sleep last time. Last time he escaped everyone just stressed out, so i kept it quiet this time to save my blood pressure. I think its best i just dont tell him, which means not telling nathan as he’d just tell Jonny anyway.  His viv makes me sad when i see it empty so im going to sell it and keep back the stuff i’d need for a rub set up. That way i still have kit incase he returns, but i dont have to see his empty viv every day.  Enjoy your freedom Houdini.

Still For Sale :) 

I’ve recently decided to sell my beautiful female Snow Corn snake, Dennie. She’s around 135g, 28-30” long and a year or so old. I feel she’d make an excellent future breeder. She’s a lovely girl and is getting fantastic at being handled. She feeds, defecates and sheds fantastically and is currently shedding. She’s growing fantastically and is looking even better with every shed. She will only be sold to a knowledgeable 5* home and is collection only in Preston Lancashire.

She is for sale with a brand new Medium 34” x 15” x 16.5” VivExotic Repti-Stax Vivarium - in cream. This includes a large water bowl, Large ceramic decorative Tile, Ceramic bayonet bulb holder kit (no bulbs), bulb guard and a bark hide. The vivarium is currently flat-packed but could be built for you.

She was sold to me as a female snopal, but with all the yellow im sure she is a snow.

I am asking £110 ono.
For the snake alone she is £60
She can come with a Large 45” x 15” x 16.5” vivarium instead for an extra £20.

Whats more, all VivExotic vivariums have the Forest Stewardship Council mark, which means the timber comes from recycled sources or sustainable forests. The glass is also toughened to BS-EN-12150 kite marked standards which means it has five times its original strength and if broken breaks in to small blunt fragments instead of long sharp shards. This is good for any very strong chubby critters!

I bought a couple to sell on as full set ups and make a little profit. For example, the Large one currently sells at around £80 but is currently sold at £53. Buy one, put it with spare kit you done use (such as water bowls, decor, bedding etc) and then sell it at £70 on a second hand site. The product is brand new and comes with kit, but is cheaper than one in the store so people get a bargain and you’ve just made about £17. Good idea, no?

Dennie the Snow Corn Snake

So i’ve decided to go ahead with one of my lifetime ambitions of breeding Tortoises. I’ve learnt a lot since i had Kura, done about a years worth of research and decided upon it. I’ve also decided not to go into corn snake breeding, largely since they are massively overbred already. That does mean slimming down my corn snake collection though. I’ve decided to sell Dennie, my CB12 Snow Corn snake since Sebby is going ape with her around and it being breeding season. She’s around 120g and a year or so old. She comes with her 18 litre RUB set up, thermostat, heat mat, and everything seen in the photo though she can come with a 2ft glass enclosure. She’s a lovely girl and is getting fantastic at handled. Message me for prices and other options. She will only be sold to a knowledgeable 5* home and can be delivered for cost of public transport.

Pen the Corn Snake goes to school

Apparently Pen-pen loved his day out at school :D He traveled well, didn’t get upset when he was taken out of his travel container, loved being handled by all the kids and didn’t even poop on anyone! All in all a successful day. Now i know he’s fine travelling i’ll be able to take him to more events and things. Right now he’s having a well earned rest in his vivarium. :)

He will have earned his mouse tomorrow!

Pen the Corn Snake goes to school

Pen-pen is off to a primary school today to be part of my friends dissertation study. She’s looking into the therapeutic effect animals have on people and asked to borrow my friendliest snake, Pen. He’s a lovely boy and super friendly - he traveled well when he came to me but im still terrified he’s gonna bite someone!

I was half tempted to pack him a little backpack, reading folder and lunch box…

Hey there chubster!  Pen has eaten the biggest medium mouse i have ever laid eyes on today! He is a champ for doing so well with it! He’s currently sat in his favourite spot under the fake flowers where he can watch whatever i do. :)

Red Star Red Star is pretty energetic today. He’s been up and down his tub all day. Guess he’s feeling a bit better following a good meal :) He’s also been reserved for a new home once his tail has gotten better :D
