Bearded Dragon Problems

Dear Hige

You are not allowed to scratch along the vivarium glass at 9am, especially when im late for university. I don’t care that your reflection is your dire enemy, glare at each other from afar. Also, the minute i let you out it is not okay to poop on my favourite jumper and then demand to go back in your viv to be fed. 

Not cool Hige, not cool.

Feeding a Bearded Dragon

I won an ebay auction the other day and now have two small breeding colonies of Dubia Roaches to feed Hige. Each Colony has 11 females and 1 male, with each female producing up to 30-40 nymphs (babies) a month. I plan to separate the babies off each colony every month a portion of produce of 1 colony will be sold each month or so (with them all being sold by the time they’re nearing adult hood), The other colonies babies will be reared to adulthood for feeding Hige. Within 6 months or so i should be self sufficient in livefood. The Dubia Roach breeding colonies i got are already breeding and it has been 1 day. 1 whole day and a female is laying.
